QUALIFICATIONS:

-Great personality, positive attitude & a team player

-Must have previous parts sales experience (preferably with power sports, ATVs, outdoor power equip., etc.)

-Must have great communication skills (Following up with customers regularly, Keeping walk-in customers a top priority)

-Must have great computer skills & math skills (Customer Quoting, invoicing and cashing out)

-Base level advertisement for the department; such as Facebook, Kijiji, YouTube Videos, etc.

-Must have great organizational skills (Maintain excellent records)

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Look after all aspects of the Parts Department

- Growth and Development of the Parts Department

-Ensure smooth operation of the Parts Department

-Ensure the Parts Department is in excellent organizational condition at all times

-Following standard operational and safety procedures

-Keep up to date with the latest industry news, trends, standards, products, best practices, etc

-Maintain good business relationships with all manufacturers, suppliers and sales reps

- Ensure smooth operation between the Sales Dept and other Departments (Service, Sales and Accounting Depts.)

-Must be cross-trained in other departments so that all customers are served in a timely fashion and in case of a staff shortage

- Following up with customers regularly

-Customer invoicing and cashing out

-Keeping walk-in customers a top priority

- Supplying / ordering the right parts to customers the first time

-Maintain excellent records

-Understanding current market pricing & trends

- Ordering parts for customers and for regular stock

-Manage inventory levels

-Ensuring regular fast moving parts and accessories are always in stock

-Understanding the seasonality of stock items

-Building regular parts orders and booking orders

-Following up with suppliers / tracking back-orders

-Receiving of parts & Accessories

-Re-stocking parts & accessories on shelves while following merchandising best practices

-Organizing Stock Parts: labeling homes and arranging home locations in a way that even a new employee can find the location of a specific part very quickly

-Recording of parts home location in Blackpurl

- Advertisement for the department; Facebook, kijiji, YouTube Videos, etc.

- Work with Sales Manager on determining stock accessories and promotions

-Work with Store Manager on growth and Development ideas / projects

-Work with Store Manager in the development of standard operating procedure improvements

-Maintain excellent records of standard operating procedures and provide to Store Manager

-Always maintain this position setup for succession. 

- Keeping work space in a clean and organized condition

-All actions during employment be for the good and continued growth of the company

-All other duties as assigned by Store Manager
