This individual must:

-have completed high school education

-have in-depth mechanical / parts technical knowledge

-have previous experience working at power sports dealership

-have previous experience working in a service department

- be knowledgeable with the Power Sports industry (ATVs, Dirt Bikes, Snowmobiles etc).

- be knowledgeable with small engine / outdoor power equipment (lawn mowers, snow blowers, chain saws, etc).

-have excellent organizational skills

-be an efficient worker

-have good communication skills (written, verbal, phone, email)

-have excellent computer skills

-have excellent email skills

-have excellent customer service & sales skills

- be a fast learner

-be able to work with a team and be able to get along with others

-have and maintain a positive attitude!

 

Responsibilities:

- Reports to the Store Manager

-Must be reliable and report to work on time for every shift

-Provide top notch customer service

-Ordering parts for customers and for service jobs

-Scheduling of service / repair jobs for mechanic                                    

-Recommend additional repairs when needed

-Communicate repairs & cost clearly to customers

-Keep good records and photos of repair work

-Accurately process work orders into invoices

-Apply customer payments to service invoices

-Submit warranty claims and follow through to completion

-Posting warranty claim purchase invoices and apply as payment to customer invoice

-Promote / up-sell company products and services

-Focus on maximizing company profits

-Maintain work areas in a clean and organized condition

-Follow standard operational and safety procedures

-Keep up to date with the latest industry news, trends, standards, products, best practices, etc

-Keep up to date with all manufacturers recommended service, repair and maintenance requirements / best practices and product specifications.

-Keep up to date with all manufacturers warranty policies and procedures.

-Keep up to date with all manufacturers training / education.

-Maintain good bill rate at all times for each mechanic

-Communicate clearly with Mechanics on a regular basis

-Keep open communication with all other co-workers / departments

-Help promote BroadView and its brands through word of mouth, events, trade shows, atv poker runs, etc.

-All actions by the employee during employment must be for the good and continued growth of the company

-All other duties as assigned
